Each stage builds on the last — removing, purifying, and finally enriching your water with the minerals nature intended.

Ceramic Dome Filtration

Water first passes through a food-grade ceramic dome with a 0.2 micron pore size. This removes bacteria (including E.Coli and Salmonella), cysts (Giardia, Cryptosporidium), parasites, and sediment. The ceramic can be cleaned and used for one year.

Activated Carbon Block

A 4-layer activated carbon block adsorbs chlorine, chloramines, herbicides, pesticides, pharmaceutical residues, heavy metals, and PFAS forever chemicals. The carbon's enormous surface area (one gram = 500m²) traps molecules that pass through ceramic filtration.

Colloidal Silver Minerals

Silver mineral stones inhibit bacterial regrowth in the lower chamber, ensuring water that's already been purified stays pure. Silver has natural antimicrobial properties and has been used in water purification for centuries. Trace minerals are also released into the water at this stage.

Far-Infrared Mineralisation

Far-infrared mineral stones raise the water's pH to a naturally alkaline 7.8–8.5. They also release beneficial trace minerals and produce far-infrared energy, which is believed to reduce water molecule cluster size for improved cellular absorption and hydration.

Magnetic Tap

FAQ

Common questions.

The ceramic dome filter lasts 6–12 months depending on your water quality and usage. The activated carbon block should be replaced every 6 months. The silver mineral stones and far-infrared stones are long-lasting and typically only need replacement every 2–3 years. A full replacement kit is available in our shop.

Flow rate depends on water pressure and filter condition. On average, the 5 litre model processes approximately 4–6 litres per hour. The 12 litre models process slightly faster. For a family of 4, we recommend the 12 litre model for optimal daily supply.

Yes. Genzon's system uses a combination of catalytic carbon and ion exchange resin specifically selected for fluoride reduction — a more effective and longer-lasting approach than many competing systems. Some other companies rely solely on activated alumina for fluoride removal, which can degrade quickly and requires frequent replacement. Genzon's dual-action method provides more consistent reduction across the filter's lifespan. Independent lab testing confirms significant fluoride reduction through our system.

Yes. The Genzon system works effectively with tank water, bore water, and tap water. For highly turbid bore water, we recommend pre-filtering large sediment before use. Contact us for guidance on your specific water source.

No. Gravity does all the work. Simply fill the upper BPA free top tank with water and it filters through naturally into the lower tank. The system works anywhere — benchtop, shelf, or off-grid. No installation required.

The glass bottom models feature a hand-blown borosilicate glass lower tank, which is completely inert — it won't impart any taste or leach any compounds into your water. You can also see your mineral stones and watch the purification process. Many customers report the glass feels premium and they find it motivating to drink from. Functionally, both store and dispense water the same way.
